Layouts from the Weekend

I had so much fun this weekend cropping with the girls from Right at Home Scrapbooking. I was somewhat productive... got some DT stuff done and also a couple of "for fun" layouts. Take a peek...

I based this layout on the Jillibean Soup October Sketch...and the papers are from their Homemade 6-Bean Soup Line. The picture is of my daughter about 12 years ago. She was home sick and I was trying to participate in a conference call... she had so much fun tearing into the folded laundry...

I LOVE the Jillibean Corrugated Alphas, and the Jute Flowers were just perfect!

The other "for fun" layout I did was based on the 10/15 Saturday Sketch from Bella Blvd. I used Making the Team...SO happy to finally find a sports line that works for gymnastics! These pictures are from States last May... the Quiggs Prep Novice Team did Awesome!

The word stickers were perfect! I also loved the little banner stickers and created a hanging banner with them and some twine from the Twinery.

I'll be back later in the week with a fun Halloween Mini and my final (sniff...) LO as part of the Marketing Team for LCOM.

RAH Class Layouts

It's been a busy week trying to get my class layouts done for Right at Home's Layout Club this Friday at 7:00 and the MFT Fan Club Layout for later this month. Here's a peek at what we'll be doing in those classes...

Layout Club - We'll be working with My Mind's Eye papers and also Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves Die and some MFT Die namics! We'll also take the iTop out for a spin to make some custom brads.

MFT Fan Club - We'll be working with some Memory Box papers and many of the new Die namics from the October Release including the Contempo Cage, the Oval Tab and the Oval Decorative Doily!

There are 2 dates set for the MFT Fan Club.. Saturday, October 29th at 12:30 and Thursday, November 3rd at 6:30.

If you're interested in joining us at either club meeting, please call Right at Home Scrapbooking at (508)695-9290 to reserve your spot!

CS Guest Designer

I was very excited to be a guest designer on Creative Scrappers this week! I love their blog and look for inspiration there all the time! The sketch Kristine gave me to work with can be seen here, and here's my take on it.

I used Doodlebug's new Monster Mania line... I just can't get enough of those little creatures!

I was inspired by my recent multi media class to paint on my layout. I used bubble wrap to apply the color.

Even the spider is cute! It was lots of fun to play with this line and the CS sketch! I'll be back later this week with some goodies from Right at Home!

Yesterday

This week my husband and I celebrated our 19th Anniversary. I have a hard time believing we've been married that long. I think I may have to give up telling everyone I'm 29... it's beyond the respectable limits at this point! Since I had a post due for LCOM on our anniversary I thought it would be perfect to scrap our wedding photo. I still haven't done a book for our wedding... talk about a bit behind... someday I'll get to it! Here's the layout I created using Bo Bunny's Garden Girl Line.

I love the chipboard pieces that come with this line, I used the leafy flourish as a backdrop for the flowers I die cut using MFTs new Prima Donna Petals Die namic.

The butterfly was "fussy cut" from the Garden Girl Paper.

That's all for now... it was fun to look back many years (and a couple of dress sizes!) Check out the Bo Bunny Garden Girl Collection Kit at LCOM! You'll love the colors and patterns!
