Lori Whitlock: Dry Erase Board

Hi Everyone!  I just realized I never posted this fun project that I created for Lori Whitlock.  It's back to school time around here, and I thought this project would be perfect for my daughter's locker.  It could also be used on a dorm room door... take a peek...

For my dry erase board, I used some paper from the Bella Blvd. Color Chaos collection and the 4 Basic Tags, the A2 Butterfly Shaped Card, and the A2 Flower Shaped Card files available in Lori's store.

I put the pieces all together and then ran them through my laminator.

After trimming and adding a pen with Velcro, my board was complete.  For more instructions and details, you can go to my original post here.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

I used regular copy paper for the "paper pad".

Now to start crossing things off that to-do list!!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: Design by Color

Hi Everyone!  Today I have my color challenge project for Doodlebug Design!  I was lucky enough to get my all time favorite Doodlebug color.... Swimming Pool!!  Seriously, it's my most favorite color in the history of ever!  It makes me so happy!  Here's my layout, it's a throwback picture to 2006 of my daughter digging in the sand down on Cape Cod!

I used papers from a few collections including Happy Campers, SunKissed, Sugar Shoppe and some Sprinkles Vellum for my background.

The clouds are made using the Sizzix Doodlebug Cloud, Flower, Rain and Umbrella Die Set and some Lily White Sprinkles Vellum.

I LOVE the Fishy Doodlepop from the Happy Campers Collection!!

I also used a Swimming Pool Doily to back my photo and Swimming Pool Gingham Treat Bag as a holder for my journaling tag.  The stickers are from a few different collections including SunKissed, and some Swimming Pool Fancy Frills.  I love how it all turned out!  That's it for me today, make sure to stop by the Doodlebug Design blog this week for more Design by Color inspiration!

Paper Issues: Off the Page

Hi everyone!  Today I'm excited to introduce a new feature that I'm hosting over at Paper Issues... Off the Page.  Basically I get to play with paper and create all sorts of goodies that are NOT traditional scrapbook pages.  Mini albums, Home DĂ©cor, Gift bags... all sorts of fun projects!  Each month I'll post a project and ask folks to create something along the same theme and post them in our challenges album in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans group.  Best part, by participating, you're entered to win a Paper Issues Gift Card!

This month I put together a fun mini album "sort" of project featuring my favorite summer pictures.  I started with Lori Whitlock's Recipe Box cut file.  Instead of recipes on the insert cards, I chose to add my favorite pictures from this summer.  It's almost a PL type of project, and the best part is it's a work in progress, I plan on adding more until the end of the summer.  Take a peek...

To simplify the whole process, I chose to stick to one collection... Making waves from Fancy Pants.  It's perfect for summer photos and it makes my life easier to stick to one collection... here are some of the inside pages...

Here's a peek at the pages I've completed so far!

I love that I'm capturing all of the best of this summer! Head on over to my post on the Paper Issues Blog to see how you can enter to win a $20 gift card to the Paper Issues store!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

I used lots of fun goodies from Bella Blvd. including papers from the Just Add Color, and Color Chaos Collections ... both available in the Paper Issues Store.

The Love This button is from the July Swag Bag... it was the perfect addition! I'm also in love with the new Bella Blvd. Little Bits 4x6 stickers... the words are fun to cluster together!

I used my Copics to color some of the flowers on the Star Struck paper
